Apply for a Primary School Place
This Round re opens on 1st September 2025
Your child is eligible to:
- start primary school in September 2026 e.g. born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 inclusive
- transfer from infant to junior school for the academic year 2026-27 e.g. born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019.
Closing Date: The closing date for primary school applications is 15th January 2026.
National Offer day is the 16th April 2026.
Reminder: We strongly encourage you to maximise your opportunities by using all five preferences when applying for a school place. While we will always aim to allocate your highest possible preference, selecting fewer than five schools may reduce your chances of securing a place at a local preferred school.
