Your child is eligible to:
- start secondary school in September 2027 e.g. was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 inclusive
Closing dates: Leicestershire would like to confirm the parent portal for the 2027 11+ Transfer Cycle is now fixed, following reports of technical issues. In recognition of some parents struggling to submit applications, it has been decided to extend the closing date to mid-night 2nd November 2026.National Offer Day is 1st March 2027.
Reminder: We strongly encourage you to maximise your opportunities by using all five preferences when applying for a school place. While we will always aim to allocate your highest possible preference, selecting fewer than five schools may reduce your chances of securing a place at a local preferred school.
